Clothes for Kids is a program that provides needy school children with a set of new clothes and school supplies to start the school year. The program will be held at Columbia Place Mall.
The Clothes for Kids table is set up in Columbia Place Mall near the entrance to Burlington Coat Factory. Shoppers are encouraged to stop by and sign out a gift tag. The gift tag has the name, age, sex, and sizes of a child in need. The shopper then shops for that child and returns the purchases to the Clothes for Kids table. The Salvation Army will distribute the gifts to children in need.
The Salvation Army needs volunteers to work as table attendants to assist donors in selecting children to adopt and to receive the returned clothing donations.
